    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work in a team environment with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, and Mechanical personnel
    • Proactively seek reliability improvements directed at increasing plant equipment uptime
    • Ensure safe, cost effective, operable machinery and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs
    • Respond to changing plant needs and operations
    • Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices
    • Provide quality control and design reviews of new projects that involve rotating equipment
    • Periodically review rotating equipment thermodynamic and mechanical performance
    • Provide assistance in the field during plant start-ups, shutdowns or upsets
    • Provide troubleshooting assistance for plant machinery installations
    • Provide quality control during maintenance outages for major pieces of machinery
    • Willing to be available outside of normal working hours to occasionally serve as technical consultant
    • Provide organization cost effective solutions for the business as it pertains to operating, maintaining and purchasing rotating equipment
    • Translate technical problems into business risk while communicating a case for action for mitigations or proposed solutions
    • Mentor less experienced Engineers and provide technical training to mechanical and operations personnel
    • Provide Root Cause Failure Analysis expertise and support as needed for equipment failures

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Business, Education, Instructional
    • Design, or related discipline
    • Knowledge of learning technologies such as SAP, Vyond, Storyline, Poll Anywhere, Survey Monkey, Miro, Mural
    • 10+ years of relevant experience
