Job Description:

Visa is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and augment to engineering teams using Docker and Kubernetes. The focus for the team is to leverage containers, improve efficiency for engineering team, and improve continuous integration and deployments. In this role, you will build toolsets that are required to build, deploy, and operate our applications in Kubernetes and Service Mesh infrastructure as well as the associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Research and implement toolsets that help developers use Containers, Kubernetes

• Develop tools for developers, operations and release teams to use Kubernetes and Service Mesh with ease

• Build traffic routing, service discovery, secrets, and access control solutions

• Ensure platform security, and implement security best practices

• Have a passion for delivering zero-defect and highly resilient code and be responsible for ensuring the team’s deliverables exceed the prescribed availability and defect SLA

• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms

• Groom user stories into detailed development tasks

• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner
